What does a forwarding merchant do?

As a forwarding merchant, you are a service provider of national and international freight transport. You organize the receipt of goods, the storage of the goods, and their on-time dispatch. In addition, you monitor the interaction of all those involved in the logistics chain and communicate with the customers. Müller – Die lila Logistik solves the problem of complex handling.

What does logistics entail?

Logistics is the planning, design, and control of material and immaterial flows along the value chain. The task of logistics is to provide the right goods, in the right quantity, in the right condition, in the right place, at the right time, for the right customer, at the right cost. The apprenticeship in a nutshell:

• Start Date: The first of August or September (depending on the region)
• Duration: 3 years 
• Location: In the respective branch 
• Educational Path: Dual education (practice in the company, theory in a vocational school)

The training at Müller – Die lila Logistik starts with the Lila Starter days, which gives you an optimal insight into our company. In order to get to know the apprenticeship, you spend the practical part of the training in the specialist departments, giving you an insight into the job fields of the profession. After the end of your training period, you have different perspectives and development opportunities.
