Compliance Management System
The set of principles and measures designed to ensure adherence to specific rules and thereby prevent violations of those rules within a company is generally referred to as a “compliance management system.”
The Compliance Management System of Müller - Die lila Logistik SE aims to systematically and continuously prevent, detect, and sanction violations of rules within the company, by our employees, and by our business partners. This also includes human rights and environmental risks, as well as violations of human rights and environmental obligations under the Supply Chain Due Diligence Act (LkSG). Further details can be found in the procedural regulations below (§8(2) LkSG).
We have established the necessary organizational structures and ensure that the relevant controllers consistently monitor these risks. As part of our reporting process, we identify and document material risks, including compliance risks and compliance measures. In addition, internal controls and audit procedures are regularly used to determine which further developments to the compliance management system are appropriate.
Compliance and integrity are of the utmost importance to us at Müller - Die lila Logistik SE. We therefore require all employees and our business partners to respect and comply with applicable laws and regulatory requirements. The same applies to internal company instructions and guidelines. The goal is to prevent harm to the company, employees, business partners, or the general public.

Reporting system
We have set up a whistleblower portal to help quickly identify violations of laws and regulations. Whether you are an employee or an external party, you can use the publicly accessible option on our whistleblower portal to report Compliance violations or information related to the Supply Chain Protection Act (LkSG) within the company, or to provide evidence of such violations. You also have the option to submit your reports anonymously. However, violations can generally be addressed more quickly and effectively if you identify yourself. In doing so, we ask for your full contact information (name, address, phone number, email) as well as all details regarding the violation (when, where, who, what). Of course, we will treat your report as strictly confidential.
You also have the option to submit complaints and reports to the Central Complaints Management Office in writing or by email.

Confidential treatment
Selected employees in the Compliance department receive reports from you and forward them to the appropriate department within the company for investigation. If there is serious suspicion, we may also consider referring the matter to a law enforcement agency. If necessary, we will inform other employees as part of the follow-up process, while maintaining confidentiality. Neither the accused person nor the public will be informed of your name or any circumstances that could reveal you as the whistleblower. Disclosure of your identity may be required only in exceptional cases, such as due to legal requirements or in the event of public proceedings. You will not suffer any disadvantages as a result of using the reporting portal. However, if you intentionally provide false information—for example, to harm someone—we reserve the right to take action against you.
-
Retention period
We store reports only for as long as is necessary to follow up on them or as long as we are legally required to do so. Afterward, the reports are deleted or anonymized; that is, any link to your identity as the reporter is removed and cannot be restored.
