LILA LOGISTIK has procured, packed, and transported 1,000 packages: “One package provides for a family of four for an entire week.”

Following the invasion of Ukraine by Russian military forces and the endless suffering that has resulted to this day, Müller – Lila Logistik decided to help the people of Ukraine. Through the Lila Logistik facility in Gliwice (Poland), a total of 1,000 of these packages were delivered as part of a large-scale relief effort organized by Caritas in Poland under the motto: “One package for a family of four for an entire week.” The contents of the packages were carefully coordinated in advance with Caritas and are tailored to the urgent needs of the Ukrainian population. The packages weigh 18 kg and contain 35 different items, including non-perishable food, daily hygiene products, and first-aid supplies.

Lila Logistik procured these products using its own financial resources, packed the packages, and transported them to Caritas’s Polish distribution point. “As always with our social and aid projects, we combine a monetary donation with the efforts of our colleagues, thereby multiplying our contribution to those in need,” said Michael Müller, Chairman of the Board of Directors and CEO of Müller - Die lila Logistik SE.

All the packed parcels have since been delivered to the distribution center near Tryńcza, located 300 km from Gliwice. From there, Caritas Poland will organize the direct transport of the parcels to its partners in Ukraine, who will then handle distribution to local families.
