In light of the steadily advancing digitalization and connectivity within the logistics industry, protecting the IT infrastructure is becoming increasingly important. In light of this, MÜLLER | DIE LILA LOGISTIK has introduced a series of measures to enhance IT security and thereby ensure the integrity, confidentiality, and availability of data throughout the Supply Chain.

The following measures have been implemented at MÜLLER | DIE LILA LOGISTIK to enhance IT security:

  • XDR Endpoint Security – With CrowdStrike XDR and Microsoft Defender XDR,
MÜLLER | DIE LILA LOGISTIK relies on dual security: Microsoft Defender (Microsoft Defender E5) and CrowdStrike via XDR Endpoint Security. These software tools ensure the security of our endpoints and systems. These software tools continuously scan endpoints and systems for malware and report any findings
. -> In the event of suspicious behavior, a 24/7 team of experts can actively intervene to contain the virus.

  • BCP / DRP / Incident Response Service
MÜLLER | DIE LILA LOGISTIK has a Disaster Recovery Plan in place to ensure that, in the event of an attack, the initial steps are carried out in an orderly and controlled manner. In such cases, we are supported by a 24/7 Incident Response Team and a Business Continuity Plan that covers all procedures to restore end devices and systems to full operational readiness.

  • Employee Training
Employees receive regular training. In addition, we conduct campaigns and simulations at irregular intervals to test the effectiveness of the training.

  • Best-Practice Data Backup Strategy
We back up our data using a best-practice approach—both on-premises and in the cloud. The backup infrastructure is appropriately secured to ensure access to the data in the event of encryption.

  • Network Access Control (NAC)
Using NAC, we ensure that only certified devices can access the corporate network.

  • Network and Server Segmentation—Tiering Concept
Access to IT resources is governed by a tiering concept: Each user sees only what they truly need.

  • Update Management
All servers are continuously updated to the latest version to address security vulnerabilities as quickly as possible.

  • ISMS / DSMS
With an “ISMS as a Service” solution, we are continuously informed about measures in the areas of information security and data protection, ensuring we are always prepared for ISO 27001 certification.

  • Remote Maintenance
    Concept
Access to our systems by external service providers (maintenance, support) is managed through a central management system, where access can be temporarily granted and logged.

  • Firewall Strategy
We have state-of-the-art firewalls in a redundant configuration. Features such as DMZ, IPS, IDS, and proxy are implemented as standard.

  • SD-WAN / DNS Protection / VPN (Cisco)
Our locations are connected via SD-WAN. Each location always has two redundant lines. External access to the corporate network is provided via a VPN connection.

  • MFA Authentication / SSO
Access to corporate resources is protected by multi-factor authentication, which means that one or more additional verification factors are required. This applies to general access as well as to most applications.

  • SaaS First / Cloud Second / On-Premises Last
To ensure operational reliability, we procure software as a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) solution whenever possible. This allows us to achieve maximum availability and independence from local infrastructure. We operate a third data center in Microsoft’s Azure data center to increasingly source services from the cloud that do not offer an “out-of-the-box” SaaS solution.

  • SecOps
We have a dedicated department (Security Operations) that focuses exclusively on identifying, evaluating, and implementing new security trends.

Through these measures, we aim to enhance IT security and thereby ensure the integrity, confidentiality, and availability of data throughout our customers’ Supply Chains.
